MetrO is an app which will help you get from point A to point B practically in any world city. In the base of this simple and convenient route planner there is info about all transport means in more than 400 cities in all corners of the world.
The first thing you notice after the program start is rather laconic (or even ascetic) design.Choose the necessary city and fill in a simple form. Assign the starting and final trip stations, choose date and time.

In few seconds the app will show you the shortest way with indication of number of stations, travel time and also transport means used and route numbers. You will also learn on what stop you are to change and how much you will have to go on foot to the destination point. If it is possible to get to the final point without transfers (but it’s not the shortest way), the app will show you this route too.

Apart from this, as soon as you download the city map, you can disconnect from Internet: MetrO will cope with its task in off-line mode perfectly.

With the “Info” service you can learn more about this or that destination point (map/ scheme/ satellite, nearest stops and official site in some cases).

If you have not planned your route beforehand, it is not a trouble. Specify your current location as a starting point and learn how to get to the nearest stop or metro station.
