An airport becomes our second home from the moment of registration till a landing announcement. GateGuru – an easy and simple geolocator searching for cafes and shops in 120 world airports – will help you make these hours (even days, in worst cases) of staying in a terminal maximally comfortable.
The app has the unofficial name of Yelp for airports. We must admit, they have much in common.

At first start GateGuru defines your location (an airport) and offers info about all accessible facilities. In addition to a list of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops there are data about location of all terminals, exits, reception desks and cash machines (not speaking about such places as medical centers or mother and child rooms) in the app database.
All airport facilities are classified into 3 categories: Eateries (cafes and restaurants), Shops and Services (cash machines, info stands, etc.). In order to find the necessary facility faster, one can use a filter and limit search to only one terminal. The derived results can be sorted by Name, Gate and Rating. And a detailed map will help you find the way to the necessary shop.

You can see other travelers’ reviews and share your own impressions in the Tips inset. The developers did not forget about social nets supporting either. You can load your personal data both through Twitter and your Facebook account.
The possibility of data synchronization with such popular apps as TripIt and Kayak is very useful too.
However, you ought to prepare for long waiting within airport walls beforehand. It is enough to enter the airport name and its IATA-code (on a boarding pass) in search line and you’ll have the same list.

Advantages:
- easy and simple search;
- detailed maps;
- fast access to social nets.
Disadvantages:
- no info about smaller airports.
