You think, that a 10-hour economy class flight can not be comfortable? Set the SeatGuru app on your smartphone and take only the most comfortable seats.

The application is a database of big world air companies with detailed information about exploited planes, saloon schemes and lists of extra services aboard. That is why as soon as you reserve tickets (we’ve yet written how to find advantageous offers from air companies), it is time to apply to SeatGuru for a piece of advice…

Familiarization with the program starts with the main menu. First of all we are interested in Seat Map Advice point. Choose an air company, flight route number, flight date, press Find Aircraft – and get in few seconds precious data about the flight conditions. Open the saloon map. The best seats are marked with green, good ones – with yellow, and the worst ones – with red. The seats for the crew are marked too, as well as TV sets and toilets layout.

The Route service will help those who do not know the flight route number by some reason. One just has to enter the air company name, arrival/ departure city and date – and SeatGuru will do the rest.

SeatGuru is also a good search system. There is the Search for Flights service for it in the program. Choose initial and final trip points, dates (tick off My Dates Are Flexible point if they can be corrected) and get a list of all accessible offers from air companies.

You can post a photo of yourself happy in a plane saloon and pay thanks to the developers (or complain if the seats are not so good) using Post Photos and Submit a Comment services accordingly.
